Mary has wowed audiences around the world in a wide variety of concert programmes with orchestras and ensembles as well as in cabaret.
Her repertoire ranges from Broadway tunes and film music to pop, rock and jazz. She has been invited to perform in Australia, China, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand and around Europe and the USA in programmes such as 'THE MUSIC OF JAMES BOND' and ‘AN EVENING AT THE OSCARS’ appearing at many iconic venues including Carnegie Hall, New York, The Concertgebouw, Amsterdam and The Royal Albert Hall, London.
As a guest artist with ensembles including The Matrix Ensemble, BCMG, Psappha, Manchester Camerata, Sinfonia Viva and London Sinfonietta she specialises in Berlin Cabaret and the songs of Brecht and Weill.
She is a regular member of The Sheridan Ensemble and the band Latin Quarter.
Mary collaborates with a variety of artists for intimate cabaret and recital performances.

O MOON OF ALABAMA - A KURT WEILL CABARET
Mary is delighted to work with Walter Van Dyk on this fabulous cabaret featuring many of Weill’s classic songs from his years in Weimar Berlin as well as his time in the US writing for Broadway. Includes Mack the Knife, Surabaya Johnny, My Ship, September Song, Alabama Song, Saga of Jenny.
The evocative arrangements by Mark Haslam are for accordion, piano, violin and cello.

Mary Carewe takes you to Berlin during the Weimar era, 1920-1933 . The concert features cabaret and musical theatre songs from composers Spoliansky, Hollander, Eisler, Waxman and Weill that evoke the German psyche though the roaring 20s, the Great Depression and the rise of Nazism.
Songs include ‘Mack the Knife’ and ‘Surabaya Johnny’ with texts by Bertolt Brecht, feminist anthem ‘Chuck out the Men’, the gender fluid ‘Maskulinum-Femininum’ and Marlene Dietrich’s hit songs Alone in a Big City and ‘Falling in Love Again - Ich bin von Kopf bis Fuss.…
